Returns Policy
I want to make sure you’re happy with your purchase, which is of the highest importance. Please contact us with any concerns on your order and I’ll try to rectify it.
I understand that sometimes you may need to return a product, and we want to make this process as clear and fair as possible. This policy outlines the terms and conditions for returning personal lubricants.
Eligibility for Returns:
- Items must be returned within [14] days of the delivery date.
- To be eligible for a return, the item must be completely unused, in its original, unopened, and sealed packaging. For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of products that have been opened or have had their seal broken.
- The item must be in the same condition that you received it, with all original tags, labels, and protective materials intact.
- An email receipt or proof of purchase is required to complete your return.
- Gift cards are non-returnable.
- Sale items may be non-refundable or subject to specific return conditions as indicated at the time of purchase.
Initiating a Return:
To initiate a return, please contact us at returns@strokinut.com with your order number and details of the unopened item you wish to return. We will provide you with instructions on how to proceed and, if applicable, a return shipping label.
Return Shipping:
- You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item unless the item is faulty, incorrect, or damaged upon arrival (see below).
- If you receive a refund for a non-faulty item, the cost of return shipping may be deducted from your refund.
- When shipping a return, we recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item and are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.
Preventing Frivolous Returns and Ensuring Hygiene:
Given the personal nature of our products, we have specific measures in place to ensure hygiene and address potentially inappropriate returns:
- Strict Adherence to Unopened Condition: We will only accept returns for products that are verifiably unopened and with their original seal intact. Any indication that the product has been opened or used will result in the refusal of the return for hygiene reasons.
- Inspection of Returned Items: All returned items will be carefully inspected upon arrival to confirm they meet the unopened and unused criteria.
- Restocking Fee: For eligible, unopened items returned for reasons other than a defect or our error (e.g., you changed your mind or ordered the wrong product), we reserve the right to charge a restocking flat fee of £6. This fee helps cover the costs associated with processing and inspecting the return, given the specific handling requirements for these products. This will be clearly communicated to you before processing the return.
- Monitoring Return Activity: We monitor return patterns. Customers with an excessive return history that appears to be intentionally manipulative, fraudulent, or attempting to return opened/used products may be flagged, and future orders or returns may be subject to review or refusal.
- Clear Product Information: We provide detailed product descriptions, ingredients lists, and usage instructions to help you make informed purchasing decisions and reduce the likelihood of returns due to product properties.
Refunds:
- Once your eligible, unopened return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund based on our inspection and this policy.
- If your return is approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 2 business days.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is a result of our error (e.g., you received a defective or incorrect item).
- If you haven’t received your refund within the specified timeframe, please first check your bank account or contact your credit card company. If the issue persists, please contact us for assistance.
Exchanges:
We currently do not offer direct exchanges for personal lubricants due to hygiene considerations. If you wish to receive a different product, please initiate a return for the unopened original item and place a new order for the desired product. We want to make sure you’re happy so please let us know what would make you happy.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items:
If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us immediately upon receipt (within 14 days) with photos of the item, the packaging, and any visible issues. In these specific cases, even if the product’s outer packaging is affected due to damage, we will assess the situation. If the product itself is compromised or incorrect due to our error or transit damage, we will arrange for a return of the affected item and provide you with a replacement or a full refund, including return shipping costs. Please do not use a damaged or incorrect product.
